In this session we will cover the business value of Decision Optimization, the basic mathematical theory behind Decision Optimization (field of Decision Science) and how Decision Optimization can be integrated in Planning Analytics using two practical examples: strategic decision making for a Zoo to re-introduce endangered animal species and tactical/operational decision making for a manufacturer of fish cakes (using a classic TM1 sample model).
